Beach!

Last week we went to visit my parents on Long Island. Although this is Emmy's 3rd summer at the beach, it felt like her first visit because now she can run around and really explore. At first she was a little scared of the water, but she squealled with delight when her feet got wet. She loved finding chunks of sand stuck together and in them she saw cows, sheep, babies, and horses. She found an almost deflated balloon, and it became a favorite toy. This movie is just about 2 minutes long-- it gives you a glimpse of Emmy's love of the beach!

Andy and five Compass School students built Emmy a playground during the School's "Project Week". I made this video to document their project. It's not all construction... there are some cute Emmy shots, too!
